Dr. Ben (Zhaobin) LIU
Dr. Ben (Zhaobin) Liu holds a Ph.D. from the University of Regina (2006), is a Professional Engineer with APEGS (since 2007), and a Regulated Immigration Consultant (RCIC since 2015).He has a 13-year tenure as an employee with the Province of Saskatchewan (2009 – 2022).He is actively involved in CAPIC, including being a member of its Governance and Nomination Committee.
Dr. Liu brings over 20 + years of diverse experience in Canada encompassing academia, business consulting, and policy analysis.He served as an Associate Professor at Southeast University, China, from 2007 to 2008.
Mr. Torin Lin
Holds a Bachelor's degree from an university.Possesses extensive experience in investment, development construction, media operation management, and international collaboration. Previously held significant positions in China,
including Director and General Manager of a broadcasting and television station in a major city, representative and Chairman of a major investment and development group in a metropolitan area, and head of the International Cooperation Department of a top 500 Chinese company and a provincial-level major port group.Currently serves as a board member of the Saskatchewan Chinese Entrepreneurs Association and the Moose Jaw Chinese Community Network.
Ms. Qian ZHOU
Ms. Zhou is a Certified Public Accountant in Canada since 2010 and holds a Master's degree from the University of Regina, obtained in 2003. She has been serving as the Financial Director at St John Ambulance (SK) since 2008. In 2010, Ms. Zhou co-founded the accounting firm Golden Abacus.With over 20 years of experience living, studying, working, and starting businesses in Canada, Ms. Zhou brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in finance and accounting.
Ms. Ning LONG
Originating from China, Ms. Long boasts a 16- year career as a seasoned host for various programs at a major city broadcasting and television station. A graduate in Broadcasting and Hosting Art from Beijing Broadcasting Institute (now
Communication University of China), she had hosted news, variety, talk shows, and major events, creating award-winning programs recognized at both national and provincial levels.Since arriving in Canada in 2020 and settling in Moose Jaw, Ms. Long has hosted local events such as Christmas and Mid-Autumn Festival galas, and the Saskatchewan Chinese Entrepreneurs Association Annual Meeting. She has also produced several episodes of the talk show program "Fireside Chats" and possess extensive experience in broadcast teaching. Currently, Ms. Long manages the Highway 1 Esso gas station in Moose Jaw.
Mr. Bob Friedrich
Mr. Bob has an extensive 30-year career as a program officer/manager in the Canadian government, serving in five federal departments: Employment and Immigration, Industry Trade and Commerce, Secretary of State, Multiculturalism and Citizenship, and Canadian Heritage.He has been recognized with several awards, including three Deputy Minister Awards of Excellence from the Canadian government for his significant national team achievements, a National Suggestion Award for pioneering video training, the Badge Award from the Saskatoon Police Service and Rotary, and the Beatty Szuchewycz Award from the Saskatchewan Multicultural Council for his contributions to multiculturalism in Saskatchewan. He's also a lifetime member of the Regina Multilingual Association.
Post-retirement, Bob established three businesses supporting film, literature, and business sectors. He engages in television work, creating series for Access Communications and hosting his show "Cruisin" on Channel.Additionally, he has served on various boards, including the University of Regina Alumni Association, the Saskatchewan Writers Guild, and Saskatchewan Culture.
